About the Series: The Joy of Learning: Engaging Scholarship and Faith is an initiative by TRACI and IFES (South Asia) inviting Christian scholars in the region to share their journeys of faith, their experiences and insight in what it means to actively integrate biblical truths with their academic disciplines and make their contribution available to students as they begin their lifetime journey of learning, teaching and practising it. While authors may vary in the style of their presentation because of the varied backgrounds of the writers and the disciplines, we are grateful that the combination of their various strengths has enabled these volumes. We hope that these edited volumes will add to the conversations among the university movements and Christian and indeed students of other faiths and scholars of seriously considering a theology that widens the horizons of their engagement and grapples with the various issues presented in these publications.
